Welcome to Duet Vocal Academy
We are located in Gaithersburg, MD and work with students throughout the greater Baltimore/Washington area, with programs suited to all levels of singers, including group classes, private lessons and masterclasses.
Duet Vocal Academy was founded by Stephanie Bonte-Lebair and Jenni McGinnis to help singers in any style or genre increase their skills and improve their vocal technique. We promote healthy singing, encourage artistic expression, and believe in using every performance as an opportunity for personal and artistic growth.

Stephanie Bonte-Lebair was nominated as Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Amalia Balash in “She Loves Me” by WATCH (Washington Area Theatre Community Honors). Forty-one community theatres in MD, DC and VA participated and thirty-five musicals were adjudicated. Only five nominees are chosen in every category.

Ages 8 and older. Beginners to advanced singers welcome. Singing instruction applicable to all styles of music. 30 min, 45 min, and 60 min lessons available.

We will use primarily Group Songs to help develop your singing technique and work on how to conquer stage fright and performance anxiety. For adults who are nervous about singing in front of others or who are beginner singers who want to develop their overall technique and stage presence.

Summer Singing Camp
Ages 8-16 at The Academy of Fine Arts
August 2-7, 2010 (2-4 p.m.)
$150 per person.
The camp will use group and solos songs to develop singing technique and improve stage performance. All children will be given an opportunity to sing a solo, and will perform in a recital on Saturday, August 7th. Contact us for more details or how to register.
